Project X Shaft Specs: Ultimate Guide

Regarding golf clubs, the shaft is one of the most critical components.

It connects the club head to the grip, and its characteristics can significantly impact the club’s performance. One of the most popular shafts on the market today is the Project X shaft.

The Project X shaft is a high-performance golf shaft designed to give golfers more control, distance, and accuracy.

The shaft is manufactured by True Temper, one of the leading shaft makers in the golf industry. Many professional golfers around the world use it.

In this ultimate guide, we’ll take a closer look at the key specifications of the Project X shaft and see how it performs on the course.

Overview

The original Project X shaft was introduced in 2005 and quickly gained a reputation for being a low-spin, high-launch shaft that could provide more distance and accuracy for stronger players.

Since then, True Temper has expanded the Project X line to include a range of shafts with varying weights, flexes, and kick points to suit different swing types and skill levels.

The Project X shaft’s design is based on the “Loading Zone” technology, which involves optimizing the bending and twisting of the shaft during the golf swing.

The Loading Zone technology helps deliver maximum energy transfer and reduces deformation, increasing ball speed and distance.

The shaft model is known for its unique design and advanced technology, allowing it to perform well in various swing types and conditions.

The shaft is available in multiple weights, flexes, and lengths to suit golfers’ needs and preferences.

The Project X shaft is available in several different models, including the Project X HZRDUS, Project X LZ, and Project X EvenFlow, each designed to offer players different launch conditions and ball flight characteristics.

Many professional golfers, including significant champions like Justin Rose and Justin Thomas, have used the Project X line.

  1. I have a client who was using a Project X Hzrdus T800/65g(yellow color diamond)/6.0/ Mid Spin/Silver color driver shaft and needs a replacement. What currect Project X shafts would be comparable replacements? He has indicated that his swing speed had declined to about 95mph from 105mph in the 5 or 6 years since he bought this and would be interested in suggestions that would be more appropriate that I could test fit him for.
